 | Comments: |
A long loop (11 miles) over the Wildcats from the rear. Wildcat Valley Trail is a very gentle ascent to Wildcat D. Thought it is not an official hiking trail, a footpath was always evident along with occasional blue diamonds. The trail was a little wet for the last mile. Wildcat Ridge Trail was rough in spots and crowded. Several large groups. Wildcat River Trail was a little hard to follow at times because of all the downed leaves. There are occasional yellow blazes. The Section Hiker website has a very helpful description of this hike. |
