Comments
Comments: Group hike for friends 48 finish on Monroe. Chilly early, but warmed up quickly. 1st 1-1/2 miles on Ammo fairly flat, then the climb begins. Steep scrambles on wet rocks, small icy spots too. Many at hut sitting in the sun, light breeze really nice. Hut is closed so no water. Quick to Monroe to celebrate & remember a friend who passed. Stunning weather & views. Spent maybe 45 on top then I took off for Washington. Couldn’t pass up the weather conditions. Fairly quick to top, not as bad as I remembered. Once at the circus that is the summit, quick refill of water then out of there. Last minute change of plans, went down alongside the Cog. Very fast down 90 minutes but also very steep!

Congrats Tom
