Access road to trailhead is in very rough shape, if you have a low clearance vehicle I would suggest parking in the parking spaces next to the Irving Station just up the road on Route 2 |

One easy hop over between Starr King and Waumbek |

Easy one for dogs but not much water, the spring is a trickle. |

Still some really nice foliage in the woods down low on Starr King Trail, trail is in fine shape so nothing really to report other than the road to trailhead has some pretty nasty ditches to negotiate. |
