| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
There were a dozen or more cars at the train station on 302 at 8:20am, and a lot more there and on both sides of the highway at 2pm. After walking along the road to the trailhead, it occurred to me that I should have parked at the small lot right across the highway from the trailhead. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
The minor drainages were no problem. The only real crossing is between Bugle Cliff and the trail split, and the water flow wasn't all that much. Headed up trail, the obvious crossing has you crossing the water flow onto a smooth rock ledge, sloped down toward the water steeply. With dry rock, this isn't too bad, and I went that way going up, but if the surface were wet, the possibility of slipping would be there, especially coming down. Upstream perhaps 40 ft and just past a rotted log across the rocks, there is a fairly level field of large rocks that provides a nice way around the sloped ledge below; I took this route coming down. In high water flow conditions, this route might be partially submerged, but the sloped ledge wouldn't be easy either. |

| Lost and Found: |
I saw a pair of black shoes in the parking lot by the picnic table area, so I moved them to one of the tables. They were still there when I came back by there later. There were a number of various garments hung on the trailhead sign post and lying on the ground underneath it. |
