Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A blow down in the bouldery stretch near the view ledge on Doublehead Tr, and another near the Squam summit on the Ridgepole Tr, one duck under, the other a walk-around is starting. A few wet spots and mud pits, but well-placed rocks did the trick. Otherwise trails are in great shape, and well-blazed...thank you SLA!

Comments
Comments: A nice trek on the quiet end of the range. Just saw two people until we got to Percival, then a few more peeps around. Plan was to hit Morgan and head down, but we opted to descend after Percival and connect back to the spotted car at Morgan lot.

Great views of Squam and Winni from the ledges, and of nearby and far-off mountains.

Foliage is coming along, still a lot of green, but some pockets of yellows and reds mixed in. Maybe another week until peak in there.

A good day to play hooky from work!
