| Comments: |
That's right folks, snow and ice checkboxes appropriately checked. Ice in the trees starting around 3,800 ft with cubes dropping down onto the trail. At 4,200 ft there was at least an inch of icy snow. No need for traction today but after a refreeze and freezing rain tonight I'd expect black ice tomorrow.
Great weather day down low, socked in and gusty up high. Didn't see anyone until the Beaver Brook junction, then six others who came up from Gorge Brook Trail.
