Comments
Comments: The Dry River trail to the junction with the Mt Clinton trail was fine. No major blowdowns. Lots of branches/twigs on the trail that I tried to sweep away as I went, but there’s so many of them that I didn’t make much of a dent. The Mt Clinton trail was no fun. It was hard to find after the river crossing from the Dry River trail and it seemed to disappear from time to time too. Some unplanned bushwhacking was involved. A layer or two of fallen leaves obscured some muddy spots and most of the trail was wet. It was slow going and not the most fun that I’ve ever had. Spent the night at the Mizpah Springs Hut.
