| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked on left in what looks to be a relatively new excavated space, room for about 5-6 vehicles. This is just beyond the cemetery and on the quarry property. Appears to be new excavation in the quarry which removed any signage to the trailhead. We walked through the quarry and up an old road which brought us to the gas line swath. |

| Comments: |
The 'quarry' seems to be and active dumping area for old asphalt and holding area for piles of various forms of gravel. Recent excavation eliminated any signage to the trailhead however we did find it on our way out following the book directions in reverse order. If parking at the new area (see above) the trailhead can be found with care at the top of a berm on the left after walking approximately 200 yards on the quarry road. There is no sign there at this time and this area of the quarry seems to be under recent excavation to level the area between quarry road and the edge of the woods. If you pass by the pile of old asphalt, you've gone too far. (Note, any bushwhack into the woods behind the parking area will bring you to the gas pipeline and then head NW to pick up the trail. |
