Comments
Comments: Goodrich Rock Trail has some easy scrambling among the smaller boulders on the way to the Rock. Caution is required on the 20-ft. ladder up Goodrich Rock, but it is not bad if you make sure to hold on to the rungs and especially to the tops of the posts when transitioning from the ladder to and from the rock at the top. Hiking boots or trail runners with grip (not ordinary running shoes) are recommended.

The best views were from the top of Goodrich Rock - you don't see these views from the base of the rock. The views from the top of the gravel bank halfway up Timber Camp Trail and from the "high camp" clearing at the official end of Timber Camp Trail were disappointing in comparison, rather limited.

The foliage in this area seems to be at peak around now. Probably next weekend will be good too.
