Comments
Comments: 19 Mile Brook Trail was mostly dry with the usual occasional wet / mud patches. Patchy snow in the woods at around 3000’ and started on trail around 3250’ w/ mix snow and ice up to WRT junction. No spikes needed ascending.
WRT up to “A” summit had consistent snow / ice in the morning. Was able to bareboot up, but would probably have donned spikes if I had been descending. WRT between A and D was a mix of bare ground, bare rock, and some areas of patchy snow and ice. Was able to go without spikes here, altho the descent off of Wildcat C required careful footing. Ski trails clear.
