| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I parked at the height-of-land of Long Pond Rd. which is still closed north of the pond, so I had to drive around to Glencliff side. Blueberry Mtn trail lot was overflowing with cars I noticed. |

Many muddy / wet water bars to step over on Titus Brook road. |

Titus Brook Road has several medium sized trees down on it. This is more of a trail than a road as it only sees foot traffic. |

Lots of “deer keds” - these are a species of biting fly that come out in the fall. (I looked them up with google lens finally.) |

My first time doing this ridge hike, it was a blast! It only took me 3.5 hours for a 6.5 mile loop, so I had time to do Clough after, right across the road. 2 down for the NH500 today, but the 2 not on the list had the best views, and their own jars to sign in too. After a 2.5 mile jog down Titus Brook rd I bushwhacked up to Sugarloaf, then found a herd path more or less on the ridge, and awesome views much of the way. In the col between Petrichor and Jeffers I noticed a new looking cut flagged path perpendicular over the ridge. After this the woods became worse on Jeffers, but much of that was because I was searching for a canister on a perfectly flat summit covered with young fir trees. I eventually found the canister on the viewless summit, then made it down to where I was parked in 15 minutes, through low hobble bush stems. All the leaves were down in this last section of hardwoods. |
