Trails in good shape, some spots of erosion around tree roots. Cross Rivendell well blazed in blue, spur trail to North Cube had obvious footpath, ledge areas had a couple Cairns in good spots, a couple faded orange blazes here and there. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Sure, not much water, just some muddy spots, so bring some water for your doggo. A few dogs out today, all happy and friendly, all leashed.o |
|
| Bugs: |
Nope! |
|
| Lost and Found: |
There were two yellow Eddie Bauer poles hanging off a tree this morning when I pulled in, but they were gone by afternoon, so hopefully the owner found them. |

| Comments: |
Blue skies and glowy leaves on this mountain today. Probably just past peak, but still lovely. Saw lots of people but not to the point of too many. Great views from the summit of South, and the ledges of North. Seemed to be warm air aloft today, summit was warmer than the parking area.
Spur to North summit was better marked/more obvious than my last time here a few years ago. |
