Great shape. The sidehill along the east brook was narrow at times but ok. |

We were likely the slowest of the four parties we saw today but perhaps the most elated to get this done. Thanks to Steve Smith/Mountain Wanderer for tip on crossing #1 by staying to the right by the big boulder. For us and our sons with autism, crossings are problematic as one guy is extremely cautious and takes intense coaxing/showing the way to dip a toe on anything, while Mr. Carefree is inattentive and hence the one who takes a soaking. We got better and faster at it after 20 of these :-).
Shout out to the father and son who attempted to bushwhack down the col toward Potash and aborted given the blowdown fest it is. Impressive paper map and compass skills in the era of GPS.
