Water Crossing Notes: The crossing by the Tom Wiggin Trail is "bridge optional" at the moment. The water level this afternoon was so low, I sauntered across stepping stones that I never knew were there.

Comments: WODC does amazing work on their trail maintenance. Today's outing was no exception. The one warning I'd make about the trails is more for trail runners: there's a LOT of leaves on the ground, to the point where sometimes you can't see the rocks and roots below, and occasionally they make things a tiny bit greasy. Besides that, things are great just about everywhere.

This was 43 and 44 of my October grid, and yep, I'm trying desperately to finish this year. What I'll do with October in years to come remains to be seen, but this right now has me really excited.
Weather today was superlative. Try as you might, but you won't get a finer day. Temps were very warm, sun was high, sky was blue, and just enough clouds showed up to make the sky look interesting.
Photos and a more detailed report are on my blog as always.
