| Comments: |
The snow was gone and replaced by standing water and mud in a few places. It was warm along the ridge with hazy long distance views. Clocked 12.7 miles, vertical ascent 4,367 feet. Started at 6:40a before sunrise and finished at 2:40p. The bottom section of the Carter Dome trail approaching the Nineteen Mile Brook trail is in rough shape and hard to follow in places. Had to watch carefully for blazes. |
