The road in to the liberty/bolles trailhead had protruding rocks and a large puddle. |

One crossing on whitin brook had no good rock hopping options so I had to get my feet wet. But it was dark. |

| Comments: |
There were alot of dead leaves. I was drowning in them, particularly in the gully section of old paugus. Once I entered the wilderness, old paugus and lawrence were hard to follow in places. I saw a great sunset from the ledges. No sign of ice or snow. Noone else seen all day. |
