Comments
Comments: Needed 1 more hike after Flat Mountain Pond Trail to get to my 2K vert goal for the day. I don't think I'd ever been on Col Trail which was awesome!!!! A much better off-the-beaten-track approach to the Rattlesnakes!!!! About a mile to the actual col between East and West Rattlesnake, then .4 mi to each of them. Overall, around 4 miles total, 750' elev gain. Leaves covered the footbed so jogging was pretty challenging but I tried to make as good time as possible. Amazing views from summit as usual. Terrific!!!
