Parking/Access Road Notes: There's parking there for a couple of vehicles on the side of the road at the trailhead on Valley View Road.

Water Crossing Notes: Not an issue -- all crossings are pretty much bone dry.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are in fine shape. A bit of recent deadfall in spots has been cleared.

Comments: We did a quick walk for some fresh air -- chilly but nice weather, and still some bits of color.

The main thing to note is that in the past week there has been some significant leaf drop on these trails; some sections have a foot to two feet of leaves. Even the dried up water crossings are leaf filled -- obscuring the drop from the normal footbed. Stay frosty.

The Ryobi leaf blower came in handy. Lightweight and with turbo mode!

Oh, and it's defs a mast year for oak on these trails, too.
