Comments
Comments: All trails clear of blowdowns but some deep leaves in a few spots on the Coos multi-use trails and on the Pine Mountain Trail. No snow or ice to speak of and the southern ledges on Pine Mountain were dry and grippy. Presi Rail Trail resurfaced and graded over the summer from Pinkham B Road northbound for the first 1.5 miles, nice and smooth, great for running and riding.

Cold and windy day up high so we stayed low and enjoyed the views from Pine Mountain and along the rail trail and Coos trails. Road to the Horton Center is gated so no cars to worry about, Pinkham B Road still open but this time of year it's very quiet and hardly driven, we so no cars today. This route makes for a nice 13 + mile easy loop using the Coos trails at the beginning (Baggage Claim, Carry On) and at the end (The Strand, Pete's Sake). FYI, yield to mountain bikers on these trails.
