Comments
Comments: Always fun to do a Cardigan Loop. I estimate about 5.8 miles. Went up Clark/Holt-Clark and then down Manning, in general. Going up was much faster than descent. Rocks not as hidden on ascent. On descent, the 8-12" of dry leaves obscured the ankle-busting baby-head rocks scattered down much of the trail. Very tedious. Still, beautiful woods with 90% of leaves blasted off. Summit super-windy - was kinda scary..... Actual puddles near summits were frozen solid - it was chilly up there.
