Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Three blowdowns below the large "ship" boulder at the left turn. One tree down lengthwise in the trail alongside the slide. Ten stepovers and one high widowmaker above the slide. Lots of trail creep around rocks/roots/ledges/steep pitches. The eroded pitch with the exposed tree roots below the summit slabs now has a worn path on the left side.

Comments
Comments: I did this one as a doubleheader with Sugarloaf in the afternoon. I'd never done both of these hikes on the same day. Ooof.

Anyway, conditions were mainly dry and the upper ledges were thankfully not wet. Some areas of mud but not much. A glorious day to be on this peak with abundant sunshine and comfortable cool temps. Million dollar views through the clear air.

I usually add on South Percy when I visit here but didn't on this day in the interest of time.
