Nothing much! Took a few moments to find a good spot for the first crossing but ultimately fine. Second was a breeze. |

Beautiful day. Zero snow or ice remaining. Trail was fairly wet and muddy between miles ~ 5 and 6.5. Lots of leaves on the ground but didn’t find it to be a hazard. Fairly dry overall! Don’t bother with the spikes for now! Brutus Bushwhack seems well-tracked [which means it's not a "bushwhack"]. 4 other solo hikers along with myself. Lots of beautiful mushrooms |
