Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Several blowdowns on South Carter near Zeta Pass in need of a big saw. One group of 4 I crawled under on my knees, another large one has a path forming around it. Some I was able to climb over since someone trimmed all the branches off.

Comments
Comments: The ridge was surprisingly dry today. I only saw one other hiker all day (and one dog). Besides the blowdowns mentioned on South Carter, no issues with the trail, it might be the driest I’ve ever seen it actually. I started up 19MB at 11:30 and got down to the ski area by 5:30, where my bike was waiting for an easy short ride on route 16. A fine summer-like day to bag 4 more peaks for October.
