|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
On Hale, everything is easy. On Cannon, no water crossings... |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Both trails are in passable shape, given what they are. On Cannon, things are rough, and there are surveyor's flags in certain places. No shortage of spots needing maintenance, but that's Cannon. On Hale? It's a cakewalk. |

This was #47 and #48 for my October grid. Woo-hoo! What ever will I do next year?
Snow and ice was a bear on Cannon; maybe a kitten on Hale. As I write this, I've enjoyed a summery day on Halloween, so much of this may very well be moot. Certainly by the weekend, conditions ought to be nicer. Spikes were useless: snow balled up underneath faster than you can say "Gene Simmons." On Hale, they were unnecessary, but on Cannon, you begged for traction in several places.
More details and a bunch of photos on my blog as always. Share and enjoy!
