| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
At the trailhead, I turned down the old logging road and parked on the left side. Theres only room for 1-2 cars. Success pond road was surprisingly in excellent shape. They must have just regraded it. There were a few potholes but nothing too serious. The majority of the potholes were after passing the trailhead for mount success. The road got worse after that point. I expect any car could make it down the road right now. |

| Comments: |
On the ridge between the two peaks there was alot of mud and standing water. There were slippery wet rock slabs too. Goose eye was one of the most amazing summits I've ever hiked and there was noone around. It was hazy from the smoke but was a nice sunny afternoon. The trails were sort of hard to follow in places because of the dead leaves. |
