Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: As noted recently access road is a mess. It’s only about 100’ long section that has done huge homes/bumps/ditches. Super easy in my pickup. There was a sedan and a Prius in the lot-I wouldn’t recommend driving either up the road but hats off to the drivers who did it!

Comments
Comments: Started at 10:30 just after rain moved out. Trail was soaked. Zero snow or ice spotted anywhere. The ridge between peaks has a LOT of standing water and mud pits right now. Kids just stomped through them after awhile. Winds were very strong all afternoon. Lots of leaves up to 3000’ but they’ve been trampled down enough that they weren’t slippery! Was nice chatting with grid finisher #168 about list obsessions. Quiet day only saw five other hikers.
