Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are well maintained and blazed, but it's not clear to me that they are all landowner-sanctioned trails. The land is not posted and the trails appear well used.

Comments
Comments: Has this one pinned as a likely bushwhack but discovered a network of well maintained and blazed trails extending over the mountain & north toward the Mink Hills. Red and Orange trails begin at a log landing about 0.25 down a grassy logging road that commences from Route 114 beyond a rusty gate at a tree farm sign. Red Trail ascends the peak from a westerly direction. Blue Trail branches off Red Trail & scrambles up boulders & ledges to meet Red just below the summit. Yellow ascends to the peak along a SW ridge and is blazed to the highway. Orange Trail runs N of the mountain through bouldery woods and past two beaver ponds to meet the end of unmaintained Sisco Trace Road. From there another yellow blazed trail continues north in the direction of the Mink Hills. I assumed it connects to the Stewarts Peak Trail either directly or via woods roads in part, but did not have time today to follow it through. There's a narrow view near the Windsor Ward Peak summit & a memorial plaque & large cairn at the top. There is a fenced-in American chestnut sapling on the Orange Trail & lots of interesting boulders.
