Beelined up the ski slopes this morning to the Sosman Trail, but I would not recommend this moving forward, as snowmaking activity has resumed as of this afternoon. As a result, the High Country area (lots of snow already stockpiled, but currently avoidable) now has a lot of high pressure snowmaking hose and live electric cords strung out wall to wall. Currently no activity on the lower mountain (e.g. from the base to the viewpoint on the hiking trail).
Some minor mud and minor running water on the hiking trail. A hint of frost at the summit with temperatures below freezing and gusty wind. A few brief flurries.
Mostly cloudy morning giving way to partial sunshine. Lots of folks out hiking. |
