| Comments: |
The winds were cold down low and up high, but otherwise it was a great day. Glen Boulder trail is surprisingly dry with only a few minor snow or ice patches that were easily avoided. Davis path is muddy and messy in places, but herd paths are forming to get around the nastiest spots. And Rocky Branch is actually in decent shape - at least compared to normal. There are plenty of wet places, but they are easy to hop over or around. The biggest challenge all day was the leaves at lower elevations. They do a great job at hiding roots and rocks. Overall some great conditions for early November! |
