| Comments: |
Plenty of sunshine but winter has arrived. The two sketchy areas on Edmands path are ice covered, finding footholds was challenging, but the majority of the trail is dry as well the ascent up to Eisenhower. The wind and cold at the summit, made for a quick traverse to lower elevation for a snack. Crawford path had isolated icy spots, avoidable on the traverse but the descent from Pierce required focused attention to choosing steps. Rock spikes in on the descent would not have been overkill.
A bright day to grid out Pierce! |
