Comments
Comments: Perfect conditions for this hike. The bushwhack from Black Pond was easy to follow [therefore not a bushwhack] even with heavy leaf cover. I always struggle to find the beginning, gotta get past the muddy area then it’s great. The usual wet areas on Lincoln Brook were a combo of frozen mud & running water. Opted for bushwhack up & down, easy to follow but very steep in spots. Had summit solo for lunch, met Protean Wanderer as I was leaving summit. Only saw 8 others hiking this one. Cool early then comfortable on the way out. 27 on top…..
