East Pond Trail from Kancamangus Hwy
This is a really lovely trail. I chose this hike to get out for a few hours away from election nonsense and hopefully have decent footing. Most of this trail is great. There is a section about maybe a mile in that is annoyingly wet and rocky, and some rocks and roots elsewhere, but mostly it is a nice trail. 7.4 miles RT.
I did see deer bait right at the bottom of the trail, which is likely legal this time of year, but it bugged me. I would get out of there before dusk. |
