Comments
Comments: We did a clockwise loop of Mt Cardigan and Firescrew. Trails were dry with no mud and only a few ice patches, no traction needed. All trail intersections had signs. The upper ledges on Mt Cardigan are very steep, glad it was a dry day. Cold and very windy at the summit, did not spend much time there. Lots of leaves on the lower part of Elwell and parts of Back 80, so many leaves we could not see our feet at times. This also made following the trail at little difficult in places. We saw around 20 people up to Firescrew, then no one else for the rest of the day.
