a portion of unused doggie bags. Hung them up, by artful use of a hiking pole, on a tree for whomever needs them. |

The bad weather buddies made a smart wind decision today and decided on some nice late start walking for the Belknaps red-line. A few of the summit high points are off trail (one has a proper paths, two have a 5-10 meter walk in the woods), and the trail got slightly confusing coming down the ledges from Mack and we may have stumbled on an old trail. The proper trail is likely much easier to see when the leaves are on the trees and not the ground, and blazes are there, just faint.
Very leafy at times, but dry. |
