Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Though unofficial, the "Nubble Mountain Trail" is obviously well cared for and in good shape. There are faded white blazes on trees. The final scramble is fun and not very difficult.

Comments
Comments: Solo hike up via the Gale River Road approach. Light dusting of snow. Don't know why this trail isn't made "official"--it is pretty well-beaten and cared for. Views from the rocky top of the Nubble are impressive. Would gladly trade many other redundant trails in the Whites (that don't go anywhere special) for this gem.
