My dogs second time on the Hancocks. He enjoys this hike and the water crossings. There are a few sections heading up North Peak that I can see some dogs needing a boost. |

What a day! Only saw two people all day - with it being a Monday and rain in the forecast I'm not surprised. We lucked out, it didn't rain at all during our hike, and we snagged a decent view from the North outlook. I carried spikes and didn't need them at all. Wet rocks and roots caused me to slip a few times. Some small sections of significant mud that required some maneuvering to get around. A great day and completed the Hancocks for fall!! |
