Garfield is in pretty good condition. The water crossings have some ice but are easy to hop across. The trail is mostly dry until the 3.5-4mile mark when ice starts appearing, especially along a couple individual stretches that require some patience. Or you can throw on spikes and zip right past them easily.
The climb to the summit is a combo of packed ice and snow. Nothing too bad. Lots of wind up top today with partial views. Saw a bunch of different groups and had a good time overall. Get out there while the gate is still open! |
