| Comments: |
Hiked up Lower Periphery and Boneyard ski trails and hooked onto the Mount Tecumseh Trail where the outlook is. Ski trails are dry and easy to travel. Upper ski trails are blowing snow at the top so I would steer clear of them while they are making snow.
No spikes needed on Mount Tecumseh Trail, very little ice and snow.
Mount Osceola Trail has on and off ice flows the last mile up to main peak, light traction recommended. Between Osceola and East Osceola there is a dusting of snow and frozen mud but no traction needed. From East Peak to Greeley Ponds Trail is bone dry with no issues.
Greeley Ponds Trail, Livermore Trail, Pipeline Nordic Trail dry and smooth sailing.
Very mild temps for November, decent wind gusts above 4K but well protected in the trees. Overcast morning with moody views. This route makes for a great loop and Greeley Ponds trail between Osceola Trail junction and Livermore Trail junction is a beautiful trek and hardly ever has anyone on it for those wanting to escape weekend crowds. |
