Comments
Comments: This was just a quick out-and-back to the northern view ledges of Crane Mountain, where the Skyland Trail begins to head down to the col before it climbs up Orange Mountain. From here, one can get some nice views of Mt. Cardigan. There's some fine trail to be had there.

Of note is a new relo within the first quarter of a mile from Church Hill Road (southern end of trail) -- it takes a portion of the trail off of the previous route, which crossed some private property that the landowner expressed interest in moving the trail from. We spoke with the landowner on our way down Church Hill Road yesterday, and he seemed pleased with this relo. He noted that the trail's initial three-tenths of a mile or so still runs across his property, but welcomed hikers on the trail as long as they are respectful of the land. We could not agree more.

Also of note is that the trail is now re-blazed from beginning, through the relo, and all the way to the intersection with the Woodland Trail.
