trail was a little wet down low but otherwise very dry. Steep climb up but well worth it due to many sweeping views as you get higher looking towards Vermont, Moosilauke, whatever is south and more. Trail was mostly empty for a Saturday afternoon, only saw 4 other people. if you get a chance, check out the lime kilns, it's just a short spur and they look pretty cool considering their age. |
