Many trees leaning across the Hancock Loop Trail between the peaks at a height that is not a problem without a snowpack. They may be a problem in the snow season.

A bog bridge on the Cedar Brook Trail is off the pathway and upside down. |

| Comments: |
The ground was intermittently covered with a thin film of snow at the higher elevations. Not slippery. Nobody used traction. These conditions will change with the upcoming inclement weather. There are loose stones in some of the steep sections of the Hancock Loop Trail that one must take care with footing especially on descent.
Nice views from the two outlooks on short side trails from both summits. Also, some nice views on the ridge walk in spots where the woods are thinned out.
Many hikers out before the precipitation including a man from Stuttgart Germany, a father and daughter from RI, two women from ME Med, two women from Wolfeboro NH, a guy from N Attleboro MA, and a man from Lincoln NH. |
