| Comments: |
No snow at low elevations, 10 inches up on the ridge + drifts. Tons of heavy bent over iced trees blocking the trail that we had to climb under and over. We turned around at the significant steep ledge between Middle and South Carter which we were unable to navigate with our Microspikes. Snowshoes optional but would have made our day a lot easier. |
