| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
As reported, extensive blowdowns and trail litter along Mt Tripyramid Trail. Ice caked trees easily snap with these high winds. I came armed with a small saw and cleared so many 4-8" diameter downed spruce that I lost count. There are multiple larger 10"+ diameter trees fully blocking the trail with tracks going off trail around them. Many of the hikers out today were helping breaking off limbs as they climbed over, we were able to make most of them passable. One of these crosses the trail at about 4' off the ground, now delimbed enough for small people to crawl under and big people to climb over. Still a lot of work needed here though. |

I dropped a snowshoe and a saw while scrambling through blowdowns, both promptly returned to me by other friendly hikers - thanks! |

| Comments: |
Not much in terms of new snow overnight. The snowline starts shortly after the wilderness sign and increases to about 6" up top with a bit of drifting. No issues with ice flows. |
