After the first crossing of the snowmobile trail, there is a large birch tree to step over; chain saw sized. |

Had a great hike, light snow and ice cover. No issues at all. I did start putting on my rock spikes where the trail leaves the snowmobile trail halfway up. I chose to use the snowmobile trail up and down. Frozen moose tracks further up on the snowmobile trails with fresh scat near the summit. Ground starting to freeze, the Turkey Storm snow could accumulate. |
