Plowing was just starting at 8:30 when I arrived, maybe 6 other cars were there. Only an inch of crusty snow at that elevation. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
I removed two small downed trees with my saw, one right at the LW trailhead and one near the Liberty summit. The rest of the drooping trees seemed to pop back up with a good shake. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw a couple heading up near the ladders at 3:00 pm, I wonder how they did in the dark. There were some crazy deep drifts up at Flume summit I can’t see a dog climbing through right now. |

| Lost and Found: |
Lost my plastic saw guard near the downlook on Osseo trail. Didn’t see it on the return. |

| Comments: |
I had the pleasure of first tracks on Osseo trail up to the Flume summit, after passing a group a couple miles back. There was a lot of whacking at the branches so they would pop back up, and not a lot of sawing was needed. There were lots of friendly folks out throughout the day and all was going well until I slipped and banged my elbow on my way down the Osseo ladders. I was bleeding pretty bad so I ended up driving myself to urgent care in Littleton and getting 3 stitches. Be careful up there and don’t try to ski down the ladders! I made it down by going in reverse, and the rest of the trail was fine. |
