Beautiful winter conditions day heading up to Pierce. As usual, Crawford Path was fully broken out, we (group of 4) carried snowshoes but never needed to put them on. Exospikes the whole way were just fine. Busy day, all hikers we saw were friendly and prepared for the cold above treeline conditions. A great day overall, and snow off the trail easily 3’ with drifts between the trees. |
