Comments: Spikes were sufficient throughout, as there is not nearly enough depth to consider snowshoes this far south. Barebooted until the first lookout, then put on spikes up until the last half mile. You’ll definitely want spikes/micros with a little bite while ascending the icy slabs.

I forgot how enjoyable this trail is – especially in the snow. Get out and enjoy the powder!
