Comments
Comments: We did an out-and-back from the south trailhead. Most of the trail consisted of packed snow/ice of minimal depth, with stretches of bare rock ledges (in most such places we could walk on the snow on the edges of the trail to avoid dulling our spikes). There was a few brief places where there was a little mud or standing water, but they were avoidable/unproblematic for winter boots, so hardly worth mentioning.
