| Comments: |
Snowshoes are paramount to safe hiking up at elevation
Pushing through ice encased spruce trees that have leaned over or fell from what appears to be an ice storm from prior week with more snow. 24" or more up at higher elevations. Trail is broken out loosely and plenty of post holes too. Snow shoes recommended but challenging with blow downs.
Portable saw would have been helpful for delimbing the blowdowns. |
