I admit I had low expectations of this trail. How fun can it be to hike straight up and down for 2 miles each way?
Turns out, this trail is, yes, fun: steep but not at all straight up and down, nor is it technical and in many places it had a magic feel to it. The fresh snowfall clearly helped…
No summit views today but some nice views on the way up. Met two other hikers, which is always nice on an early Monday morning hike.
Light traction recommended. |
